The International Health Organisation Camelot® and its chairman, Mr. Kostas Athanasiou, were awarded at the second International Water Forum, which took place in Heraklion, Crete, on 22 and 23 September. The forum focused on the impact of unsafe water on human health and water quality in general, and was organised by the Centre for European Studies and Studies "Ioannis Kapodistrias" in cooperation with the Centre for Environmental Research and Training of Panteion University and the Panhellenic Association of Local Government Secretaries General "Kleisthenis".
Leading scientists from many countries participated and spoke at the forum, providing valuable insights and perspectives on water quality and its impact on human health.
Mr. Kostas Athanasiou, as an accredited expert for over 14 years by the Water Quality Association of America, was honored for his services and knowledge of water. In his speech at the forum, Athanasiou referred to the serious health impacts of unsafe water and stressed the importance of reliable water purification systems.
